Between 1997 and 2000, these firms were combined into one of the first national multifamily lending platforms.  The unique critical mass of the national platform and the best practices from each firm allowed the combined entity to rapidly outpace its peers.  While maintaining the values and core competencies of its past, the business focused on the future by investing in its people, developing proprietary technology, and diversifying its offerings.  In a very short period of time, the company became the dominant multifamily lender in the U.S.
