POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an efficient and detail oriented Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to assist with administrative tasks and various projects. The HR Coordinator will be responsible for tasks related to HR Compliance, On-Boarding, Accounts Payable, and Employee Engagement Initiatives. The ideal candidate must be energetic, analytical, work well under deadlines, and able to prioritize various assignments.   The position is located in Bethesda, MD.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data (I-9, EEO, etc.)
  • Review and submit vendor invoices for payment
  • Assist with new hire on-boarding including initiating and reporting results for pre-employment background and drug-testing
  • Ensure compliance with audit facility postings, training records, and personnel files
  • Partner with other departments (payroll, accounting, business support) to resolve internal issues and coordinate joint projects
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts including scheduling candidate travel arrangements and phone or in-person interviews
  • Assist in ad-hoc HR projects

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
  • Experience working with Cornerstone OnDemand, ADP, Concur and/or SharePoint considered a plus

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Management, or other related fields
  • Able to travel a minimum of 0-10%
